Building Strategic Downstream Infrastructure

NOCAL is advancing strategic downstream infrastructure to strengthen Liberia’s petroleum supply chain, enhance energy security, and create long-term economic value.

The Company is actively seeking strategic partners and funding for the development of a 265,000-metric-ton petroleum storage facility in Buchanan.

This facility is envisioned as an integrated downstream service hub, designed to improve national storage capacity, ensure product availability, and support efficient distribution.

The Buchanan hub will also co-locate key government agencies and private sector operators, fostering operational efficiency, regulatory coordination, and private sector participation within a single, purpose-built ecosystem.
